So if you have been on discord, you would have noticed quite a few updates happening on this, it's been a lot of work and I've been doing this more or less every day.
Base Game

Achivements System
- New Achievements System is now in place and more achievements will be added as we go. This is the main way to unlock new clans/skills:
- Achievements also give skill points on completion.
Skill Mod System
- So I had started out thinking about leveling skills but when I started to actually write code for it, I realised why overcomplicate it.. The idea is for people to focus on a specific playstyle so rather than making a weird system e.g use 100 rasengans for rasenshuriken; we can just have a nice and clear mod system:
This is still work in progress but I think it will probably be the thing that sets us apart from other GOAs. Not only are you customizing your character, you are now customizing each skill. Obviously balancing this is going to be challenging but it's not like the original GOA was balanced anyway so we will cross that bridge 🙂
Lummox has said he may be late with BYOND 514 so we will have to see if he still can hit the Jan target. We depend on some of the changes that will be introduced to 514. Hopefully he can, as I'd like to start Alpha testing by early Feb
